2. Where the Wild Things Are
----------------------------
Last month, I told you that in 1987, I met Maurice Sendak and he
kindly signed two of his books for me. They have been among my
prized possessions for more than twenty years. I am now ready to
give-up the books in the name of spreading the word about
www.ReadingLessons.com. If you would like these books, see below.
I am going to give-away these books in a random drawing which will
be made on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th).
All you have to do is recommend ReadingLessons.com to three of your
friends or colleagues and you will be entered into the drawing.
Click on the orange "Tell a Friend" button on the ReadingLessons.com
website.
You get one entry for every three people you recommend. Recommend
30 and get 10 entries, no limit. All three must be genuine email
addresses, if any are not, a new drawing will be made.
On Thanksgiving Day:
1. The first name picked will win the signed copy of Where the Wild
Things Are.
2. The second picked will win the signed copy of In The Night Kitchen.
3. Third name picked will win the first book in the Tommy Tales
series that I wrote--
The School Lunch Room and I will sign it personally for the winner.
I heard Maurice Sendak being interviewed on NPR at the time the
movie Where the Wild Things Are came out, and he said that he not
done any book signings for many years, so these two of his books
are are quite rare. There are only a few hundred eligible entries
so far, so you have a good chance of winning!
