Suzy, dear Suzy,
What stirs in the straw?
The prettiest goslings
That you ever saw;
But narry a gosling
Has stocking or shoe;
Now what will our
Poor little goslings do?
Send for the shoemaker,
To him we'll say,
"Could you make some shoes
For our goslings today?"
The cobbler has leather,
But no last to use,
So our little goslings
Must go without shoes.
