Of the three little kittens
Who lost their mittens,
Perhaps you've often heard.
Look now and see!
We are the three!
First, second and third!
Why did we lose our mittens?
Why were we naughty kittens?
We lost our mittens on Hallowe'en,
With all the frightening sights to be seen!
Tell me, what would a kitten
Need with a mitten
When high up in the sky,
We saw a witch,
Blacker than pitch!
How scary! Oh my!
So we just dropped our mittens
And ran like scaredy-kittens!
We lost our mittens on Hallowe'en,
With all the frightening sights to be seen!
And what else could a kitten
Need with a mitten
When creeping up there came,
Goblins and ghosts,
Coming so close!
And calling our names!
Of course we dropped our mittens
And ran like frightened kittens!
We lost our mittens on Hallowe'en,
With all the frightening sights to be seen!
Who lost their mittens,
Perhaps you've often heard.
Look now and see!
We are the three!
First, second and third!
Why did we lose our mittens?
Why were we naughty kittens?
