Hush, my dolly, go to sleep,
Evening shadows softly creep;
Stars a-twinkling in the skies,
Dollies, too, should close their eyes.
All the toys are put away,
Ready for another day;
Waiting for the morning light,
Dollies, too, should say "Goodnight."
Sleepy flowers nod their heads,
Children seek their cozy beds;
Drowsy dreams begin to creep,
Dollies, too, should go to sleep.
Evening shadows softly creep;
Stars a-twinkling in the skies,
Dollies, too, should close their eyes.
All the toys are put away,
Ready for another day;
Waiting for the morning light,
Dollies, too, should say "Goodnight."
Sleepy flowers nod their heads,
Children seek their cozy beds;
Drowsy dreams begin to creep,
Dollies, too, should go to sleep.
