July the Fourth

From the dawn of day to the set of sun,
July the fourth is so much fun!
O happy summer holiday,
When banners wave and children play!
The birthday of our dear old land,
Beneath whose starry flag we stand.

With a birthday party ev'ry year,
We celebrate our country dear,
We ought to give the U.S.A.,
A birthday present ev'ry day,
So now, dear land, I give to you,
My heart's love, ever warm and true.
